Santa Came to Town

Cabin Time
We stayed at a little cabin just below Hatcher Pass on Saturday night. Great fun for the girls- hot chocolate, bunk beds, x-mas lights, movie in bed, homemade cookies left for us and lots of snow!
Ski to Independence Mine
Snowy weekend at Hatcher's Pass. We had a nice ski/hike/sled combo journey up to the mine. Both girls were great sports- Maren played hard in the snow and Sadie slept most of the time on my back. More snow to Anchorage please!

Apple Pie for Sadie
Sadie finally got her birthday sweets with Dad on his birthday. Sick with a terrible cold and the stomach flu (all of us), birthday cake just was not on the menu. Maren and I made apple pie for David's birthday cake and Sadie got her own slice. She inhaled it.
Happy Birthday Dad!
We celebrated David's birthday Friday at 5:30am (Sadie's choice) with presents, Centaurs, lots o coffee and green chili breakfast burritos (thank you Price Family!!!)
