Maren has been making valentines for her preschool buddies. She cut hearts out of newspapers, old photos, paper bags and construction paper. As she assembles each card, she marks the name she is working on with an X and then crosses out the name once she is finished. Very organized!She writes a short message inside each card, telling the person one thing she likes about them. For example,
I like it when you are fun and gentle and kind was her message to one of the tough kids in class. The kids get to pass out their homemade valentines next week.
