Celebrating Who We Are

Ms. Deb (Maren's teacher) lets the kids create a bulletin board that shares something about who each child is. This week is Maren's turn. What a fun project to do! Maren led the charge! She chose what to share and what to say and what to display. She even helped me construct it. She did all the typing, sorted through and selected all the pictures and chose what she wanted to let her classmates know. I love the words she chose to describe herself and her illustration of her favorite things ( hard to see) Hooray, her favorite stuffed toy and chinese food, her favorite meal. She insisted on including all the flies she made made with her Dad. We also had to hang her dragon and her phoenix. What an opportunity to learn about what your kid is thinking!
