As the girls and their pets lounged on the couch today, I recognized the parallel personalities in the pairs. Sadie and Charlie- social, goofy, silly and attention-seeking. Both need constant feedback and beg for cookies. Both at ease in the group-prefer the group even. Always looking for something to get involved in.
Maren and Sam- tend to dwell in the periphery- just outside the action. They create their own independent solitary action -group activity only when necessary. Both are subdued unless when experiencing a frisky, wild moment. They both watch from the outside and decide when to get involved on their own terms. Both physically squirm when given unwanted attention.
