Pop-Pop Duffy has his own turkey colony in the front yard. I think it has something to do with the corn he feeds them. Maren took over the daily feeding job and spent much of the trip trying to "tame" the turkeys. many a time she'd coming running in having spied a tom with a beard. By the end of the visit she was a regular " turkey whisperer."
This was the view right out the dining room window on Thanksgiving Day. If they only knew what was going on inside!
