Postcard from Pop-Pop

My Dad sent the girls this postcard from MO. Maren loved finding all the hand-drawn creatures on the card- especially Pop-pop. Sadie pointed to each one and said, "baby." I had this overwhelming sense of my own Grandfather- his silliness and his original drawings-usually Turk postage stamps. Dad seemed to include details that Maren would really get into- especially the whipped cream dessert for the cat. She asked me twice if it was true and the second time she muttered "no fair." My favorite part is the key to the drawing on the left-classic Dad- no detail overlooked. Thanks, Dad.
