Maren's Pizza Joint

Maren and David made dinner tonight. David rolled out the dough and Maren did the toppings. When I returned home from my run, I was surprised ( I didn't have to make dinner!) and I said, "Wow, Maren you made pizzas?" Maren's reply, " We didn't make the pizzas Mom, we decorated them. The pizzas were delicious!

Magic Potion

While I was out running today, Maren made magic potion. David helped her select ingredients and she wrote the recipe down. Of course if we revealed the exact measurements you would know how to make the magic potion and we couldn't have that.

Winter Wonderland

We woke this morning to MINUS 12 DEGREES! Brrrr! So, instead of playing outside we stayed in and used our imaginations to create winter wonderlands. Maren and Jonah made beautiful winter landscapes.

These are a rare species called "deermoose."

The Gnomes

We've been visited by gnomes this Christmas. Each day (since Dec. 1) the gnomes left a gift for Maren and today she thanked them. I found this when I went to log on to the computer.
