I've Got Toes!

Playdate

Sadie had a playdate with sock monkey and soft baby.

She wiggles around the floor and squeals and babbles.

Never know where she'll wind up!

Please Welcome Flower Bug

Last night we surprised Maren with a new bike! Her 12" frame was just too small this year and so we bumped her up to a 16" frame. She has been riding a ton already and we figure this is the year she will go from four wheels to two wheels. She was really surprised!

The first thing she wanted to do was clean the bike up ( it wasn't dirty), so she polished her up real shiny. Then Maren turned to me and her lip just fell. She barely got out the words, " Does this mean I can't ride Susie anymore?" and down came the tears. We explained that she could ride the new bike whenever she was ready and that we thought Susie and the new bike would be great friends.

So out came Susie and the bikes get along just fine!

The bikes slept together in Maren's room and even shared a blanket.

Today we took Flower Bug out for her first spin.

Sadie peeked out from her cozy bag.

Maren cruised the neighborhood

Flower Bug and Maren are becoming fast friends.

Loop-di-Loop!

Round and round and round she goes...

...when she'll stop nobody knows!

Two New Things

Sadie tried rice cereal. It was very exciting and she actually ate quite a bit.

Sadie got a johnny jump up! Fun!

Bunnies on the Brain

Maren woke up this morning and said, " Is it Easter still?" I guess she is still thinking about bunnies as she used her breakfast to create her own breakfast bunny.

The Easter Basket Hunt

Sadie found her basket!

So did Maren.

The girls got sister bunnies.

And little bunnies.

Sadie's bunny meets her toe bunny.

Thank you Easter Bunny!

The Easter Bonnet

In your Easter bonnet, with all the frills upon it,
You'll be the grandest lady in the Easter Parade.
I'll be all in clover and when they look you over,
I'll be the proudest fellow in the Easter Parade.
On the avenue, Fifth Avenue, the photographers will snap us,
And you'll find that you're in the rotogravure.
Oh, I could write a sonnet about your Easter bonnet,
And of the girl I'm taking to the Easter Parade.
