The Artist Recycles

Maren took an ALL DAY recycled art class at school on Friday. This tin can cat actually has moveable, interchangeable, magetic body parts. I think she could have led the class.

Baby Gloves?

Maren & Sadie were quiet and busy for a long time this morning. I was surprised to find they had birthed 10 baby latex gloves-complete with names and beds and unique designs.

They were fed, read to and tucked into their cozy paper beds.
Sadie had the Boo family and Maren the Splotch family.

A proud mama.

I never know what they are going to come up with.

The papers from the shelter list Feb 14 as Charlie's birthday. He is 3ish today. He is also my valentine sweetheart. There just isn't a better dog. I did a long run around the trails with him yesterday and it felt like a first date. It is just better to be with him than without. He is so attentive and happy and easy-going- very easy to fall for. And he is just so handsome!
