This big mama came by for a snack in our crab apple tree, but it is slim pickins'. We had about 6 new inches of snow last night and so mama made fresh tracks in the front yard.
About thirty minutes after this visit, a small calf, maybe a yearling, frantically jumped our side fence and scurried through the front yard following mama's tracks. Couldn't get my camera fast enough!
