Meeting Jupiter
Our friends, Liz & Skip, have a new, sweet labby girl, Jupiter and we got to meet her today. Maren picked out a new toy for her and some teeny puppy cookies.
Sadie got to meet a puppy too.
Maren and Jupiter played in the backyard.
Then everyone konked out.

Goodbye St. Mary's
Last week was Maren's last day of preschool. St Mary's Creative Playschool has been an amazing adventure for us. It brought us so much joy, fun and sillies! We will miss our weekly time there but our connection and friendships are strong.
Memorial Day Weekend 2008 Part 1: Cabin Life
We drove down to Ninilchik with the FULL intention of tent camping. After a dead car battery, rain, wind and general chilliness in the air, we nabbed the last cabin available. We were warm, cozy, dry and happy!
Part 2: Fishing
David had a charter for halibut and kings planned, but high wind and rough water changed the plans. He gave it a go in the Ninilchik River, but the kings were not out in force yet.
Part 5: Sunny Day in Homer
We drove down to Homer to get out of the wind and hiked out on the spit...
...ate fresh halibut
...and drank fresh IPAs
and the girls konked out.
