First we watched the ceremonial start in Anchorage with friends and screamed our lungs out.
Front row seats!
Now for the real deal in Willow. This is the restart. Mushers are starting their 1049 mile journey.
This was the scene on Crystal Lake.
Folks arrived on snow machines, planes and by foot to cheer and party.
Again, right up on the trail to watch these amazing athletes.
Can't get much closer than this!
