Why the Out of Doors is So Very Good for Our Kids

It's hands-on. You can get into that leaf and find the caterpillar.

You can do ANYTHING!
Like juggle on top of a mountain.

Kids feel a sense of accomplishment for arriving at a destination using their own two feet.

Exploration of new places creates new pathways in the brain.

Independence sets in and kids have THEIR OWN experience.

Kids are so busy and Moms are free to converse in complete sentences.
( Maybe this one is just good for Moms.)

It feels GREAT to get dirty.

Kids discover a new perspective on the world around them.

Cooperative learning and teamwork evolve.
You follow me, then I follow you.

Kids are present, in the moment and actively peaceful.

They RUN!

And run..

...and run.

Friendships solidify and...

memories are made.
Let's go outside.
