Hunting for Marmots in Turnagain Pass

On our way down to the Kenai, we stopped just south of Turnagain Pass to move around a bit. The marmots were everywhere, sending warnings of our prescence ahead to their friends. We found tons of marmot holes and about the same amount of marmot poo, but only caught shorts glimpses of the furry creatures themselves. The smells and sounds drove the dogs crazy. Here Maren summits Marmot Mountain.
