Maren gave us a tour of her new favorite place to be- the local equestrian center. Maren rode Luna ( her stick pony) through the stalls and told us about each horse- she actually identified the Appaloosa and Pinto correctly. Here she poses with one of her favorites Gray. A woman riding a real horse in the ring was so taken by Maren's passion and imagination that she let us meet her horse Ruger and she and Maren swapped horse stories.
Maren takes Luna out on the track for her speedwork. She's quite a speedy little filly! Believe it or not, Maren actually rode around the ring TWICE with that stick between her legs! I think she's headed for the Preakness.
It turns out Luna is a dressage horse too and not just a racer. Here Maren does her best "sage" routine, as only she can say it.
Maren takes time out to share her equine expertise and train her Dad on Luna. She was teaching her dad how to ride fast. Luckily Dad's a good sport.
